Meet the Staff

Dr. Philip Seaver, Jr. MD, FACS
Dr. Seaver is a Board Certified Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia, and then went to Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC for his internship and first year residency. Dr. Seaver finished his surgical residency at University of Connecticut in Hartford at Hartford Hospital.

Dr. Seaver received additional training in Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tufts- New England Medical Center in Boston. He has been in practice for over twenty years and has dealt with thousands of veins and vein problems. He has also authored several papers and given many lectures in his area of specialty. Dr. Seaver is the president of the Vein Center of North Jersey and performs all major procedures.

Ruth E. M. Camp, RN, BSN
Ruth graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange with a Bachelor of Nursing Science. She is licensed with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing and has been working with Dr. Seaver since the Vein Center's inception.
